To celebrate the Giro d'Italia weekend, Larne Rugby Football Club will be running a 2 day event filled with a music fest and entertainment on Saturday for all the family.

Free camping is also available on Larne RFC grounds.

Friday 9th May

Kicking off on Friday 9th May, the launch of the Viking Music Fest will feature some Rock and Blues bands playing in the big marquee with late licensed bar and entertainment.

Food and drink on Friday night will be available from Friday teatime.

Admission:

Weekend Pass: £15 (Fri & Sat)
Saturday only: £10

Free camping.

Breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Saturday 10th May

Charity bike ride on Saturday morning at 8am. The ride will go cross country to Glenarm where refreshments will be available. They will then return using the coast road along the route the Giro will take back to the Club.
Cost of this event will be £35 including access to 2 nights of entertainment and free camping.

We will have many activities including:

A Charity Family Bike Ride starting from Larne Town Centre (Agnew Street Car Park) at 11am out to Larne Rugby Club
Glynn Village fete
Mini Rugby
Old Time Dancing
Bouncy Castle
Tug of War
Kid’s Disco
DJ during the day
Outdoor Catering
Car Boot Sale (12pm-4pm)
Stalls and Tombolas
The TA Vehicle Demonstration
Rock and Blues music (Over 18s & starting at 6.45pm)
Free Camping Available with Bike Locks and shower facilities.

Car parking is available (£5) but limited spaces. Local bus and train transportation services are available.

**Please note that the roads to the Glynn and Larne will be closed from 12.00pm - 4.00pm.***

Pitch side viewing of the World Famous Giro d'Italia racing event!

Larne RFC is the perfect place to see the World Famous Cycling Race from the roadside pitch. Come along to see over 200+ cyclists and the travelling caravan - vastly becoming an essential
part of the race experience!

Giro caravan passes around 2.00pm. The Giro race will zoom by the club around 3.15pm.

Two nights of entertainment at £15 includes free camping for the weekend. A large marquee will be erected to host all indoor activities.
