Honorary Secretary volunteer role at Larne RFC

Honorary Secretary volunteer role at Larne RFC

Stephen Johnston23 Feb - 21:00

Larne RFC is seeking a committed and enthusiastic volunteer to take on the role of Honorary Secretary.

After a long period of dedicated service, our current secretary Judith Taylor is stepping down from the role. We would like to sincerely thank Judith for her hard work, organisation, and commitment to the club during her time in post.

This important position is now vacant, and we are inviting expressions of interest from anyone who would like to play a key part in supporting the ongoing development and day-to-day running of the club.

Role Overview:
The Honorary Secretary plays a central role in the administration of the club, including:

  • Organising and recording committee meetings
  • Managing official correspondence
  • Supporting compliance and governance requirements
  • Acting as a key point of contact for club communications

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Contribute meaningfully to your local rugby club
  • Be involved in decision-making and club development
  • Support players, members, and the wider Larne community

No prior experience in a similar role is essential – just good organisational skills, reliability, and a passion for the club. For more information, please download our volunteer role description below.

If you are interested or would like to find out more, please get in touch via email (admin@larnerfc.com), direct message or speak to a member of the committee.

Let’s work together to continue building a strong future for Larne RFC!
