High School had other plans and opened the scoring with their outside centre crashing through to score under the posts early in the first half.
The remainder of the first half held no further scores as both sides seemed equally matched.
The visitors stepped up a gear in the second half scoring 4 more tries, with their light footed number 8 outclassing the Larne defenders on 3 occasions to score.
Despite making several piercing runs Larne found all attempts to advance smothered by an experienced High School defence.
Late in the game the home side managed to score a consolation try when out-half, Gary Knox, slid in from 5 metres, however it went unconverted.
The game finished Larne 5 – BHSFP 31.
