Larne start new season with Win over Armagh 2nds

A yellow card to Armagh gave space for Ryan Garrett to zip down the wing for a second score after a turnover assist single-handedly from Stuart Johnston. Andrews converting both scores.

The temperament of the game escalated and after a few feisty affairs, Jonny Cole was sent to the bin after a high tackle.
A missed penalty from Larne went from bad to worse as Armagh crashed through some broken tackles for their next score. Their outhalf missing the conversion leaving the scoreline at 22-15 with the final 10 minutes of the game to play.
Larne saw the game out with a penalty and came out winners 25-15.
A very entertaining game and plenty to take out of this first game of the season.
